Week 2

Another week has gone by and we are still looking for summer. The locals keep telling us that the cool/rainy weather is unusual; however, it doesn't seem to help as we put on another layer to keep warm.
Maggie continues to make good progress. She is able to get out and go for short walks as we try to build some strength back in her legs. The doctors have been fantastic in nursing her back to health.
A portion of our household items arrived on Friday and when the crew opened the trailer it looked like the truck had been in a wreck. Boxes were crushed and thrown all over the trailer. Another fun week following up on the move that never ends.
The one bright spot of our week; our trip to the Artic Thunder Airshow. The show was hosted by Elmendorf Air Force Base. Connor got to talk to F22, F15, F16 and various Helicopter Pilots. He seems to be more excited than ever about getting a military pilot spot. Spencer got into the act as well. At the show, we got to see demonstrations by numerous aerobatic aircraft, an F22 demonstration, the Thunderbirds and other military airplanes.
